Tabs is hiring a Product Specialist, NetSuite to serve as the resident NetSuite expert within the Product organization. This is a 0-to-1 role sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams (Sales and Implementation). The core mission is to transform tribal NetSuite knowledge into scalable playbooks, training, and internal tooling that enable the Solutions and Implementation teams to work independently on standard configurations while you focus on the hardest cases and roadmap decisions.
Key responsibilities include: (1) Building and owning scoping and implementation playbooks that help Solutions Consultants and Implementation Managers assess NetSuite configuration complexity and integration feasibility; (2) Running recurring training and office-hours sessions with GTM and Implementation teams to maintain playbooks and raise organizational NetSuite fluency; (3) Serving as the technical escalation point for complex NetSuite configurations including multi-subsidiary, multi-book, and non-standard revenue recognition scenarios; (4) Getting hands-on when needed—prototyping SuiteScript or RESTlet fixes, diagnosing API/script-level integration failures, and maintaining a NetSuite sandbox environment that simulates real customer complexity; (5) Partnering with the Integration PM and Engineering to translate customer request patterns into product decisions, determining what Tabs should support natively versus what requires customer-side configuration; (6) Reviewing Engineering's proposed integration architecture and workflow decisions from a NetSuite technical perspective.
Tabs is an AI-native revenue platform automating the contract-to-cash lifecycle (billing, collections, revenue recognition, reporting) for modern finance and accounting teams. Founded in 2023, the company has raised $91M from top-tier VCs including Lightspeed Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Primary. Customers include high-growth companies like Cursor and Statsig.
The role requires 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally as an implementation consultant, techno-functional consultant, solutions architect, or in-house admin. Deep expertise with SuiteCloud toolset (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, RESTlets, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder) is essential. You must have working knowledge of NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and experience designing bi-directional integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems. You're a systems builder who doesn't wait for playbooks to exist—you write them. You're decisive under ambiguity, can make tough calls about what Tabs should support versus what customers should adapt, and have low ego with high technical credibility.
