Ascendis Pharma, a global biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Product Owner to join its Product Supply IT team in Hellerup, Denmark. This role sits at the intersection of business and IT, responsible for shaping the digital solutions that support the company's product supply operations. You will lead a self-organizing product team, defining and communicating the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Product Supply IT solutions. Key responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders to understand needs and align expectations, owning and prioritizing the product backlog with transparency and focus, and driving continuous improvement of product capabilities. You will also participate in daily operations to ensure stable solutions and fast incident resolution, and manage vendors and contracts relevant to the products. The ideal candidate holds a relevant academic degree (IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field) and has several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role. You should have demonstrated expertise in Agile product development, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into clear priorities are essential. Experience with Product Supply, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, or ERP-related processes is required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (especially in pharma) is a plus. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated environments is advantageous. You will report to Babak Bajelan and be based at the Hellerup headquarters. The role involves approximately 5–15 days of travel per year.
