Delinea is seeking a Product Security Engineer to join its Cybersecurity organization and help maintain and mature an industry-leading Product Security Program. The role focuses on ensuring Delinea's software adheres to high security standards and remains trustworthy for use in demanding enterprise scenarios.
You will be responsible for maintaining and maturing product security tooling including SAST, SCA, DAST, and Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) platforms. You'll assess software vulnerabilities and provide clear guidance to developers and administrators on remediation strategies. A key part of the role involves ensuring the security of development, testing, and hosting environments while applying current product security best practices and standards.
You'll execute and help improve Delinea's Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC) program, staying current on emerging secure development technologies including AI-assisted development and security processes. The position includes performing security reviews of software system designs and configurations, and assisting support teams in analyzing and responding to security-related questions about Delinea products and services.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional product security experience and is comfortable with DevSecOps concepts. You should have hands-on experience integrating security testing tools into CI/CD pipelines, working with source code management systems (ADO Repos, GitLab, GitHub), and application security testing tools. Strong knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes), authentication/authorization methods (OAuth, SAML2, Kerberos, x509), and scripting/automation with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar languages is essential.
You'll balance security requirements with business objectives, communicate technical ideas clearly across engineering, security, and support teams, and creatively solve software security problems. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Security and is hybrid in Mexico City (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at the Reforma office).
