Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology. The company develops Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that integrates thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control centers, alongside autonomous systems, AI platforms, aerospace vehicles, and long-range sensors. We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to develop novel security tooling, discover vulnerabilities, and secure our advanced technology suite. The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or software engineering with a focus on platform security, or has transitioned to product/application security roles. Key responsibilities include: - Owning development and maturation of security features across Anduril's product portfolio - Authoring and maintaining security documentation including System Security Plans, Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments, and compliance evidence - Collaborating with engineering teams to build resilient, secure products that meet industry-standard security goals - Working with manufacturing and operations teams to develop secure handling and operational processes - Conducting comprehensive security assessments including architecture reviews, source code analysis, configuration auditing, and adversarial testing - Remediating design, implementation, integration, and process weaknesses - Integrating and maturing Product Security's tooling across Anduril's products Required qualifications: - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C/C++, Golang, Rust, Python) - Experience assessing and developing security features for firmware, applications, networks, IoT, or embedded systems - Experience building, testing, and delivering production-ready systems, particularly embedded and/or Linux systems - Knowledge of structured threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies - Experience securing autonomous systems and understanding their unique threat models - Familiarity with anti-tamper and reverse engineering mechanisms for hardware and software - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC level minimum) - UK citizenship required Preferred qualifications include experience with UK Ministry of Defence Cyber Security Model (DefStans, Cyber Secure by Design, DIPNs, ISNs), aviation cyber security standards (DO-326A/ED-202A), SORA/CAA Type Certification requirements, RF Emanation Protection (TEMPEST), network security devices, embedded/aerospace/cyber-physical system architectures, and programmable logic devices.
