Yugabyte is seeking a Product Sales Specialist to drive adoption and monetization of Meko, its new AI Data Layer purpose-built for agents. Meko provides agents with shared, persistent memory and knowledge layers, improving context, reducing repeated work, and saving token burn. As a Series C company entering hypergrowth, Yugabyte is investing heavily in Meko as a core pillar of its go-to-market expansion into the AI agent ecosystem.
In this specialist overlay role, you will be the subject matter expert who partners closely with Account Executives and Forward Deployment Engineers to identify agent-related use cases, build business cases for Meko, and progress technical and commercial sales cycles from first conversation to close. You bring deep AI/agent fluency to deals already in motion, helping shape how customers leverage Meko into their agent stacks.
Key responsibilities include: acting as the SME for Meko and building relationships with technical and executive stakeholders; partnering with sales and engineering teams to identify specific use cases where Meko solves customer challenges around context, memory, or reliability; supporting development and progression of Meko-specific sales opportunities across your assigned territory; demonstrating measurable business impact to enterprise stakeholders by translating technical capabilities into business outcomes; collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Account Executives, and Engineering to ensure messaging and positioning reflect customer feedback; and building relationships with customer contacts working on AI agent initiatives.
You should be equally comfortable in whiteboard conversations about agent memory architecture and boardroom discussions about business impact and ROI. You will actively contribute to sales enablement and GTM strategy as Meko scales.
Required skills and experience: working knowledge of AI agent architectures, LLMs, and the emerging role of memory and context layers in agentic applications; experience working with field sales, customer engineers, and cross-functional customer-focused teams; ability to communicate value-based messaging that resonates with both technical stakeholders (architects, engineers) and business stakeholders (executives, product leaders); and comfort using data and analytics to track performance, forecast accurately, and optimize sales effort.
The team works hybrid, together in the Sunnyvale office 2–3 days per week. Yugabyte offers competitive cash compensation, equity (when applicable), health plans, retirement plans, and unlimited paid time off.
