Turnitin is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead communications around data privacy, security, AI use, and accessibility across its portfolio of academic integrity and assessment solutions. This role bridges Product, Security, Privacy/Legal, AI, Accessibility, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Key responsibilities include developing market-facing positioning and messaging for privacy, security, responsible AI, and accessibility; clearly articulating how customer data is collected, processed, protected, and used; owning customer-facing communications explaining where and how AI is deployed across products and whether customer data trains AI models; maintaining external web resources on security, privacy, AI, and accessibility practices; translating complex technical and regulatory concepts into customer-friendly language; enabling Sales and Customer Success teams with training, playbooks, FAQs, and talk tracks; supporting customer and procurement conversations during evaluations and renewals; establishing consistent messaging across Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Privacy, and Security; ensuring new product launches—especially those involving AI or new data uses—have appropriate trust and security messaging; identifying emerging topics that may create customer concerns and developing proactive communications; monitoring regulatory and market developments around AI, privacy, and accessibility; and representing customer voice back to product and policy teams.
Success means customers quickly understand data protection, AI usage, and accessibility approaches; Sales and Customer Success teams confidently answer routine questions without escalation; and external communications consistently reinforce trust.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in product marketing, product management, or technology marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, edtech, enterprise software, or highly regulated/trust-sensitive environments.
