Turnitin is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead communications around data privacy, security, AI use, and accessibility across its portfolio of academic integrity and assessment solutions. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Security, Privacy/Legal, AI, Accessibility, Sales, and Marketing.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining market-facing positioning and messaging for privacy, security, responsible AI practices, and accessibility. You will communicate how customer data is collected, processed, stored, protected, and used within products by partnering closely with Privacy, Legal, Security, and Product teams. You'll own customer-facing communications explaining where and how AI is used across products, what data AI features access, and whether customer data is used to train or improve AI models.
You will maintain external-facing web content and resources providing customers with easy-to-understand information about security, privacy, AI, data-use, and accessibility practices. A core responsibility is translating complex security architectures, privacy practices, AI technologies, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements into language that customers, educators, administrators, procurement teams, and business leaders can understand.
You will enable Sales and Customer-Facing Teams by developing training, playbooks, FAQs, objection-handling guidance, presentations, and talk tracks. You'll partner with Sales, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Product teams to address customer questions during evaluations, procurement processes, security reviews, and renewals. You'll establish and maintain approved messaging to ensure consistent communication across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Privacy, and Security.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring new products and features—particularly those involving AI or new uses of customer data—have appropriate trust, privacy, security, and accessibility messaging as part of launch readiness. You'll identify emerging topics that may create customer questions or concerns and develop proactive communications. You'll monitor the evolving regulatory landscape related to AI, privacy, security, and accessibility, and represent the voice of the customer by bringing recurring questions and concerns back to internal teams to influence product decisions and roadmap priorities.
Success is measured by customers' ability to quickly understand how data is protected and how AI is used, Sales and Customer Success teams confidently answering questions without unnecessary escalation, and external communications consistently reinforcing trust.
