Turnitin, a global leader in education integrity solutions serving 16,000+ institutions across 185 countries, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own customer-facing communications around data privacy, security, AI transparency, and accessibility. This role sits at the critical intersection of Product, Security, Privacy/Legal, AI, Accessibility, Sales, and Marketing—translating complex technical and regulatory topics into clear, credible messaging that builds customer trust. You will develop and maintain market-facing positioning and messaging across Turnitin's portfolio of academic integrity and assessment solutions. Key responsibilities include: articulating how customer data is collected, processed, protected, and used; leading AI transparency communications explaining where AI is deployed, what data it accesses, and whether customer data trains models; owning external web resources on security, privacy, AI, and accessibility practices; and turning complex security architectures and regulatory requirements into language accessible to educators, administrators, procurement teams, and business leaders. You'll enable Sales and Customer Success teams with training, playbooks, FAQs, objection-handling guidance, and talk tracks. You'll partner with Sales, Security, Privacy, and Legal to address customer concerns during evaluations, procurement, security reviews, and renewals. You'll establish approved messaging ensuring consistent communication across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Privacy, and Security. You'll ensure new products—especially those involving AI or new data uses—have appropriate trust and privacy messaging at launch. You'll identify emerging topics that may create customer concerns and develop proactive communications. You'll monitor evolving AI, privacy, security, and accessibility regulations and translate implications for product positioning. Finally, you'll represent the voice of the customer, bringing recurring questions and concerns back to internal teams to influence product decisions and roadmap priorities. Success means customers quickly understand data protection, AI usage, data training practices, and accessibility approaches; Sales and Customer Success confidently answer routine questions without escalation; and external communications consistently reinforce trust.
