Turnitin is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead communications around data privacy, security, AI use, and accessibility. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Security, Privacy/Legal, AI, Accessibility, Sales, and Marketing, translating complex technical and policy topics into clear, customer-friendly messaging that builds trust. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining market-facing positioning and messaging for privacy, security, AI data use, and accessibility across the product portfolio. You will communicate how customer data is collected, processed, stored, protected, and used, partnering closely with Privacy, Legal, Security, and Product teams. You'll own customer-facing communications explaining where and how AI is used, what data AI features access, and whether customer data is used to train or improve AI models. You will maintain external-facing web content and resources providing customers with easy-to-understand information about security, privacy, AI, data-use, and accessibility practices. The role requires translating complex security architectures, privacy practices, AI technologies, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements into language that customers, educators, administrators, procurement teams, and business leaders understand. Additional responsibilities include developing training, playbooks, FAQs, objection-handling guidance, presentations, and talk tracks for Sales, Customer Success, and other customer-facing teams. You'll partner with Sales, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Product teams to address customer questions during evaluations, procurement processes, security reviews, and renewals. You'll establish and maintain approved messaging to ensure consistent communication across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Privacy, and Security. You'll ensure new products and features—particularly those involving AI or new uses of customer data—have appropriate trust, privacy, security, and accessibility messaging as part of launch readiness. The role involves identifying emerging topics that may create customer questions or concerns and developing proactive communications. You'll monitor the evolving regulatory landscape related to AI, privacy, security, and accessibility, translating developments into implications for product positioning and customer communication. Finally, you'll represent the voice of the customer, bringing recurring questions and concerns back to internal teams to influence product decisions, policies, documentation, and roadmap priorities. Success means customers quickly understand how Turnitin protects their data, how AI is used in products, whether their data trains AI models, and how the company approaches accessibility. Sales and Customer Success teams should confidently answer these questions without unnecessary escalation, and external communications should consistently reinforce trust.
