TrustLayer is automating and simplifying the certificate of insurance (COI) process to help businesses ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency. This is a hands-on product marketing role for a builder, not a manager of vendors or decks.
You'll own positioning, messaging, and launches across a growing product portfolio including COI verification, RMIS, contract review, and risk management training. You're expected to ship interactive content, calculators, microsites, and competitive teardowns yourself—writing copy, prototyping landing pages in Claude Code, wiring up analytics, and shipping by Friday.
Key responsibilities include: owning positioning and messaging for new product launches (several queued for 2026); building sales enablement that gets used (battle cards, demo scripts, ROI calculators, objection handlers); running competitive intelligence on myCOI, Certificate Hero, and adjacent players; shipping interactive content yourself using AI tools rather than lengthy agency engagements; defining and instrumenting metrics that matter (activation, expansion, win rate by segment) and reporting weekly; partnering with product on pricing, packaging, and naming; and driving launches end-to-end across webinars, content, PR, paid, and partner channels.
You bring 4+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS company, with insurance, risk, fintech, or vertical SaaS experience as a plus. Technical fluency is essential—you're comfortable in the terminal, reading API docs, and prototyping with AI tools. You have demonstrated ability to build with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools and can show shipped work (microsites, calculators, extensions). You're metrics-obsessed, can navigate ambiguity, and thrive in fast-moving environments. You influence how the product team structures its release process, advocating for clearer timelines and tighter alignment.
