Scopely is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join the Star Trek Fleet Command team, a sophisticated mobile strategy game with millions of players worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Live Operations, Marketing, Community, and Player Experience, serving as the connective tissue that aligns cross-functional teams around shared strategy and coordinated go-to-market execution. You will own the player-facing narrative for Star Trek Fleet Command, translating complex product strategy, gameplay systems, and roadmap initiatives into compelling experiences that resonate with diverse player segments. You'll develop positioning frameworks, create messaging strategies, and ensure consistent communication across all player touchpoints—from launch campaigns and in-game messaging to CRM and roadmap communications. Key responsibilities include partnering with Product, Design, Economy, Live Operations, Analytics, and Creative teams to translate feature development into clear player value propositions. You'll lead integrated go-to-market strategies for major features, seasonal content, technical improvements, and franchise partnerships, defining player segmentation, launch objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. You'll serve as the central marketing coordinator, driving cross-functional launch readiness by aligning messaging, creative assets, support documentation, and operational plans across Product, Community, Campaign Marketing, CRM, Creative, Player Experience, and external partners like Paramount. This includes facilitating launch planning, identifying risks, and ensuring player communications remain aligned during releases and live incidents. The role also involves creative stewardship—developing briefs, messaging frameworks, presentations, and marketing guidance; reviewing assets for consistency and brand alignment; partnering with Creative teams on high-quality materials; and managing approvals with external partners. You'll monitor feature adoption, player engagement, sentiment, and campaign performance post-launch, optimizing based on analytics and player feedback. Success requires equal parts strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate enjoys simplifying complexity, thrives in cross-functional environments, and is energized by turning ambitious product ideas into memorable player experiences.
