Baseten is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy for its post-training offerings. The company powers mission-critical inference for leading AI companies including Cursor, Notion, Abridge, and Writer, having recently raised $1.5B in Series F funding. In this role, you will own positioning and messaging that articulates Baseten's inference platform value to developers and enterprise customers. You'll shape market narratives around closed-to-open weight models and post-training ROI, develop clear differentiation in a competitive landscape, and create compelling technical content including white papers, blogs, demos, and case studies. Key responsibilities include owning feature and product launches in collaboration with product, engineering, sales, and growth teams; building sales enablement resources that empower teams to communicate Baseten's capabilities; conducting market and competitive analysis to inform positioning; and developing deep understanding of the fast-moving AI infrastructure market. You'll work with a technically sophisticated audience, requiring both strategic marketing acumen and hands-on ability to simplify complex AI/ML concepts. The ideal candidate has 3–8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS. You should have proven success creating technical content for developer audiences, working understanding of the LLM landscape (post-training, open-weight vs. closed models, training techniques), and familiarity with developer ecosystems and modern software practices. This is a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you'll gain exposure to cutting-edge AI infrastructure and work alongside world-class engineering and product teams. The role offers competitive compensation with meaningful equity, comprehensive health coverage, flexible PTO, paid parental leave, and a collaborative culture.
