OpenAI's B2B Marketing team is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own the administrator and governance experience across ChatGPT Work and Codex. This role focuses on a critical but often overlooked audience: IT administrators, security teams, and deployment owners who determine whether AI products actually get adopted at scale in enterprises. You will define how OpenAI earns trust with the people responsible for approving, deploying, managing, and expanding AI inside organizations. Your core mission is translating fast-moving enterprise capabilities into clear, practical narratives covering setup, access controls, governance, security, usage, and value. This is not about announcing features—it's about helping administrators understand what changed, what they control, how to deploy responsibly, and why expanding access makes sense for their organization. Key responsibilities include: building deep understanding of administrator needs, objections, and workflows; developing positioning and messaging across workspace setup, identity/access, roles/permissions, data access, agent controls, auditability, analytics, and spend management; leading administrator-focused product launches; creating predictable communication motions that explain changes and required actions; building practical setup guidance, governance explainers, and field enablement materials; translating customer objections and implementation barriers into product insights; developing coordinated education programs across communications, webinars, and lifecycle campaigns; connecting administrative approval to broader adoption; earning trust through accuracy and honest representation of capabilities; and measuring outcomes like workspace enablement, deployment time, control adoption, and administrator confidence. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Security, Sales, Customer Success, Customer Education, and Marketing teams. The role requires someone who can operate in a fast-moving environment where launch timing, product details, and customer needs shift quickly, while maintaining a genuine commitment to responsible AI deployment at scale.
