Applied Intuition is a $15B-valued AI infrastructure company powering physical intelligence across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. As Product Marketing Manager for Defense, you'll lead the company's marketing strategy with the global defense industry, serving as the marketing lead for a cross-functional team partnering closely with product management.
You'll own product positioning and messaging for new AI-driven product categories, translating complex technical capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with defense program offices and senior decision-makers. Your responsibilities include defining how defense customers evaluate, buy, and deploy Applied Intuition's technology; developing product launch marketing strategies; and building sales enablement that supports the defense pipeline.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and execute defense marketing strategy, combining market insights with product knowledge to advance the defense pipeline
- Drive product launch marketing, defining positioning, naming, and messaging while partnering with Product Management
- Set defense marketing KPIs, define the marketing calendar, and manage quarterly budgets
- Brief, guide, and review content across campaigns, video, blogs, press, social, and events
- Stay current on defense market trends, customer priorities, and competitor activity
Required qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of product marketing experience in software technology across multiple industries, including defense
- US citizenship (required for Controlled Unclassified Information access)
- Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear marketing narratives
- Strong project management and multi-workstream execution skills
- Experience shaping brand strategy for technology-led companies
- Strong creative judgment and track record guiding compelling content development
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Applied Intuition is headquartered in Sunnyvale with offices globally. The company expects primarily in-office work (5 days/week) with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
