OpenAI's Industry Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for Cybersecurity to shape how the company brings frontier AI to cyber defenders. This role sits at the center of Daybreak, OpenAI's cybersecurity initiative, and requires translating advanced AI capabilities into compelling narratives and go-to-market strategies for enterprise security leaders.
You will own positioning and messaging for OpenAI's cybersecurity offerings, including Daybreak, Trusted Access for Cyber, and Codex Security. Key responsibilities include building field-ready assets (decks, one-pagers, use-case libraries, customer stories) for account directors, solutions engineers, and C-suite audiences. You'll translate frontier model capabilities into clear, accurate language for senior enterprise buyers and security practitioners.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Research, Security, Policy, Communications, Partnerships, and GTM teams to coordinate launches, develop campaigns, and execute customer proof programs. You'll drive account-based marketing, webinars, roundtables, executive briefings, and conferences. A critical responsibility is maintaining high standards for accuracy, governance, and responsible marketing in a sensitive, fast-moving category.
Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in product marketing, industry marketing, cybersecurity marketing, or enterprise B2B technology. You should have experience marketing technical products to security, developer, IT, risk, or C-suite audiences, with strong cross-functional program leadership instincts. Deep curiosity about cybersecurity, AI, software development, and enterprise adoption is essential. Preferred experience includes application security, SecOps, cloud security, developer tools, or enterprise software backgrounds, plus familiarity with CISOs, security practitioners, and high-trust customer environments.
