Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance, integrating insurance, prevention, and care into a single user experience. With 800+ employees, 40K+ company partners, and 1M+ members, Alan is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own the engagement and retention strategy for Alan Play, their B2C health engagement platform.
The role focuses on building lifecycle marketing machinery that drives 500K daily active users across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada by 2030. Currently, 25K members open Alan Play daily to walk, meditate, compete with colleagues, and build healthy habits. Play is Alan's #1 traffic source and retention engine.
Key responsibilities include: designing and executing a lifecycle layer for personalization across member and HR admin segments; building campaign machinery that becomes more efficient each quarter; establishing measurement frameworks with holdouts and incrementality testing; creating a live product pitch that updates as features ship; and turning HR admins into a measured distribution channel.
The role is horizontal and vertical—managing multiple member segments, several countries, and coordinating across Product, Sales, KAM, CSM, and other product teams. You'll own onboarding, activation, reminders, reactivation, and win-back campaigns from greenfield.
Must-haves: proven retention and lifecycle marketing at scale (subscription, gaming, social, media, health/fitness); ability to build systems and standardized campaign machinery; analytical rigor with funnel analysis, segmentation, holdout testing; horizontal operator experience across multiple audiences and countries; hands-on execution capability; strong writing and branding sensitivity; marketing automation platform expertise (Customer.io, Braze, Iterable); genuine attachment to health mission; B2B2C sensibility.
Nice-to-haves: French, Spanish, or Dutch language skills; HR tech or employee benefits experience; gamification or social mechanics background; experience standardizing processes for team reuse.
