HiveWatch is modernizing enterprise physical security through an intelligent orchestration platform that unifies fragmented security operation center (SOC) tools. This is HiveWatch's first dedicated product marketing hire, representing a significant growth opportunity for the right candidate.
You will serve as the bridge between product strategy and go-to-market execution, owning positioning, launches, content, and sales enablement. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, product management, customer success, and sales, you'll build product marketing as a function from the ground up with a clear path to leading the discipline as the company scales.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop deep market and buyer intelligence: become the expert on who buys HiveWatch, how they buy, and what drives their purchasing decisions.
• Own competitive positioning: maintain a sharp, current view of the market and competitive landscape, defining how HiveWatch should be positioned.
• Conduct ongoing voice-of-customer research: manage win/loss analyses, customer interviews, and market sizing studies that feed positioning, product input, and go-to-market strategy.
• Craft messaging and narrative: partner cross-functionally to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates across internal education, sales conversations, website, and investor materials.
• Plan and lead product launches: design and execute repeatable launch processes for new products and features.
• Collaborate on go-to-market strategy: work with the digital marketing manager on acquisition and expansion campaigns.
• Enable the sales team: provide materials, insights, and positioning that equip sales to run effective processes and close deals.
• Own product narrative: manage how the product story appears on the website, digital properties, and broader content efforts.
• Build AI fluency: use AI tools as a core operating principle (drafting copy, synthesizing competitive intelligence, conducting research) and actively build that skill set across the marketing team.
• Support thought leadership: contribute to external positioning through copywriting, speaking pitches, presentations, and industry engagement.
• Measure and optimize: evaluate marketing and enablement effectiveness and recommend improvements.
This is a builder role with significant autonomy. You'll operate in an environment with more ambiguity than structure on day one, working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5–7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or hardware/software hybrid businesses selling into enterprise buyers.
• Self-motivated and deeply curious; someone who digs into the "why" and treats curiosity as a core habit.
• AI-first mindset: fluent and hands-on with AI tools beyond copy drafting, ideally with a track record of building that fluency in others.
• Strong writer who moves comfortably between sales collateral, web copy, video scripts, and longer-form content.
• Experience owning positioning and messaging in competitive markets; physical security or adjacent enterprise software experience is a plus.
• Comfort building process and infrastructure from scratch in ambiguous environments.
• Direct experience working with sales and customer success teams and creating materials that get used.
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently.
