Hedra is building models and infrastructure for visual intelligence, connecting frontier research with production-ready tools for developers and businesses. As Product Marketing Manager, you'll own the content strategy and hands-on production that makes this complex platform understandable, differentiated, and easier to buy. You'll spend most of your time deciding what to communicate, writing it yourself, and distributing it to the right audiences. Your work will span technical product stories, customer case studies, use-case and comparison pages, launch content, and sales enablement materials that help move buyers through technical evaluation and purchase. You'll need to earn developer trust while making business value clear to decision-makers. Key responsibilities include: - Owning content strategy and editorial calendar, prioritizing topics and formats that address developer needs, buyer questions, sales opportunities, and product launches - Writing and shipping content yourself: product explainers, technical articles, customer stories, solution pages, competitive comparisons, launch emails, and sales materials - Building content for sales-led growth, including decks, one-pagers, evaluation guides, and objection-handling materials - Developing credible technical stories by interviewing engineers, customers, and researchers, then translating architecture, capabilities, and results into clear narratives - Building customer proof through case studies grounded in actual workflows and results - Adapting core content across channels (website, blog, email, LinkedIn, sales outreach) and partnering on video and developer assets - Measuring content performance through qualified engagement, sales usage, and pipeline contribution, then iterating to improve - Contributing to messaging and positioning based on customer conversations and competitive research - Surfacing market insights to product and engineering on buyer objections, adoption barriers, and unmet needs You'll work closely with marketing, sales, product, and engineering teams in San Francisco. The role requires someone who is a writer and builder—someone who enjoys research, storytelling, and shipping finished work rather than just creating briefs. You should be technically curious, commercially minded, self-directed, and collaborative. QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years in B2B product marketing with substantial ownership of content strategy and production for a sales-led business. Experience with AI, developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure is especially relevant. - Exceptional writing ability demonstrated through a portfolio showing clear thinking, strong narrative structure, and ability to make complex products compelling. Must be able to write both technical deep dives and concise sales narratives. - Demonstrated success marketing to developers or technical buyers, with evidence of work that earned their attention and trust. - Strong technical fluency: comfortable reading API documentation, trying integrations, and discussing model quality, latency, cost, and reliability with engineers. No need to be a software engineer, but must understand products well enough to explain accurately and ask good questions. - Experience supporting sales teams through complex buying processes with multiple stakeholders and transitions from use case to production deployment. - Track record taking content from research and first draft through review, publication, distribution, and improvement. Comfortable working directly in publishing tools without large support teams. - Must provide writing samples showing developer-facing work, customer storytelling, or sales content, with explanation of what you personally wrote, who it was for, and what it achieved.
