AppDirect is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own the go-to-market strategy for a Business Unit within their subscription commerce platform. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will be the sole product marketing voice for your Business Unit, responsible for end-to-end ownership of product launches, positioning, and market strategy. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute full go-to-market strategies for product launches, defining positioning, success criteria, and driving cross-functional execution - Establish product marketing outcomes and success metrics tied to pipeline and revenue targets, tracking performance continuously - Partner with the Director of Product Management to shape the product roadmap using competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, and market research - Build and execute customer marketing strategies focused on advocacy programs and expansion-stage motions to support cross-sell opportunities - Own analyst relations for the Business Unit, managing briefings and positioning with firms like Gartner - Represent product marketing in cross-functional planning discussions with sales, customer success, and marketing leadership - Contribute to pricing analysis and packaging recommendations You will work alongside two other product marketing managers and a director of product management, contributing the Business Unit perspective to company-wide planning. The role requires someone who can set their own priorities, drive work forward independently, and translate market intelligence into actionable strategies that sales and product teams can execute on. Required qualifications: - 3–5 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS with demonstrated go-to-market ownership - Experience conducting competitive analysis, win/loss research, and market intelligence to influence product and positioning decisions - Familiarity with analyst relations processes, including briefing preparation and research inquiry responses - Experience developing customer marketing or expansion-stage programs (advocacy, upsell, cross-sell campaigns) - Strong ability to work cross-functionally and communicate positioning narratives clearly - Comfort with data-driven decision making and pipeline analysis
