Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. The company recently closed a $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation and is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint and Factory-as-a-Service platform. As Hadrian's first product marketer, you will drive how the market understands what the company builds and its impact. You'll work closely with Brand, Federal, Sales, Recruiting, and Hadrian leadership, shaping this new function from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: - Setting positioning for every Hadrian offering: what it's called, who it's for, and why it beats alternatives. You'll embed with engineers and customers to make the technical case to both engineering teams and executives. - Translating technical differentiation into mission impact through copy, media, and products that demonstrate offerings and their value. You'll find proof in schedule, quality, and throughput, keeping positioning connected to customer results. - Equipping every team carrying Hadrian's story with narratives, competitive positioning, and product demos. You'll bring back what lands and use it to sharpen the story and inform product decisions. - Building the product marketing team: hiring specialists and developing a bench of design, video, and writing contractors. You'll need to learn complex manufacturing and defense systems quickly and turn them into clear, credible narratives that engineers trust. This is a high-pace, high-agency role requiring full-stack marketing craft—writing sharp copy, designing slides and diagrams, and reaching for whatever medium best conveys the message. You should have a portfolio of work you personally made and can articulate which parts were yours. The role is driven by mission (rebuilding the industrial base) and tempo (shipping at the pace customers and teams need). You'll use AI extensively to compress research, writing, design, and production. QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years at companies with technically complex products, with demonstrated experience defining positioning and go-to-market strategy. You learn complex systems quickly and turn them into clear, credible narratives. Engineers trust your technical explanations. - AI-native mindset: you're a high-pace, high-agency marketer who uses AI to compress everything (research, writing, design, production). You can demonstrate concretely how AI already makes you multiples faster. - Full-stack craft across writing, design, slides, diagrams, and product graphics. You have the taste to direct designers and video editors when needed. - High-agency builder experience: you've been first or early in a function, found what was missing, and built it without waiting for a brief. - Driven by mission and tempo; you care about shipping at the pace required. Will set you apart: - Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, robotics, or industrial hardware, including selling to government customers or large primes. - Background in engineering, industrial design, or technical design. - Track record of content and positioning tied to business outcomes (pipeline, closed deals, hires). - Video editing, motion design, or 3D skills. - Experience hiring contractors and growing a team. ITAR REQUIREMENT: You must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
