Langfuse is an open-source LLM engineering platform trusted by 19 Fortune 50 companies and over 2,000 customers, providing tracing, evaluation, and prompt management capabilities for AI application development. Recently acquired by ClickHouse, the company is building the observability standard for AI engineering teams.
You will serve as a technical product advocate and content strategist, becoming a clear voice on Langfuse's capabilities in LLM observability, evaluations, and prompt management. This role bridges product, engineering, and the market—requiring hands-on product expertise combined with exceptional communication skills.
Key responsibilities include: creating technical content (blog posts, deep dives, benchmarks, launch videos, conference talks) that translates complex concepts into clear value for developers; owning and elevating documentation, guides, and runnable examples to category-leading quality; speaking at and organizing high-signal AI engineering events, converting each into reusable educational assets; developing content strategy and roadmap informed by competitive analysis and performance metrics; and partnering closely with product, engineering, ClickHouse marketing, sales, and support teams on launches and positioning.
You should have 5+ years in engineering, data science, DevRel, technical product marketing, technical writing, or developer tools. You write exceptionally well with strong opinions about what makes technical content useful. You can code enough to build examples, inspect SDKs, and understand traces—credible with strong engineers. You advocate effectively for technical products in person and writing, own projects end-to-end, and collaborate across functions.
Strong pluses include: existing public content creation (blog, videos, talks, newsletters) with an audience; deep knowledge of LLM applications, agents, evals, prompt engineering, RAG, and observability; experience running benchmarks or writing competitive technical analysis; and speaking experience at technical events or organizing developer workshops.
The team is small, engineering-heavy, and experienced, based in Berlin and San Francisco. EU-based candidates should expect one week per month in the Berlin office. US candidates can be fully remote, with San Francisco preferred but openness to exceptional candidates anywhere.
