Lendable is a UK unicorn fintech company on a mission to rebuild consumer finance products (loans, credit cards, car finance) with modern technology. The company is profitable since 2017, backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs, and has over 800 employees. They operate in the UK and US markets, targeting the trillions held by legacy banking systems.
In this Product Manager role for UK Loans, you will own the strategy, execution, and growth of the origination funnel, with particular focus on direct lending. You'll take day-to-day ownership of your product line and work closely with Engineering, Credit, Growth, and Operations teams. Your primary focus will be improving conversion across web and app onboarding journeys and identifying new customer engagement opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing the product roadmap with an industry-leading engineering team
- Designing hypothesis-driven tests, measuring outcomes, and iterating rapidly based on learnings
- Collaborating across Product, Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Finance, and Operations
- Using AI tools to build automation, streamline workflows, and improve decision-making
- Partnering with design to ensure customer needs drive product development
- Navigating the fintech landscape while balancing innovation with compliance and risk management
- Working with third parties to ensure best-in-market product delivery
You'll need to be autonomous, comfortable managing a product line independently, running standups and planning sessions with engineering, and proactively resolving blockers. The role demands strong problem-solving, data analysis, communication, and collaboration skills. You should thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured, high-growth environment and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves on implementation and design decisions.
Lendable offers a hybrid working arrangement (three days in-office weekly), flexible benefits tailored to role and location, private health coverage, retirement savings plans, employee referral bonuses, complimentary lunches on in-office days, and sustainable commuting schemes.
