Spacelift is an infrastructure orchestration platform managing the full lifecycle of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AI-accelerated infrastructure. The platform integrates Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Pulumi, and Ansible into a single governed workflow, enabling secure and compliant infrastructure delivery at scale.
As Product Manager for Kubernetes or Ansible, you will own a defined product area from customer discovery through delivery, launch, and adoption. You'll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support to identify customer problems, validate opportunities, and deliver products that solve real infrastructure challenges.
Key responsibilities include conducting regular customer discovery with platform engineers, DevOps teams, and infrastructure leaders; studying production workflows to understand pain points around governance, coordination, visibility, and reliability; synthesizing customer interviews, product usage data, support cases, and market research to identify high-impact problems; defining product requirements and success measures using frameworks like 5 Questions and PR/FAQs; prioritizing work based on customer value, strategic fit, and effort; collaborating with Design on solution exploration and validation; partnering with Engineering on scope and trade-offs; coordinating launch readiness across teams; and measuring adoption and customer feedback post-release.
You should have hands-on production experience with either Kubernetes (Argo CD, Flux, Helm, operators, cluster management) or Ansible (AWX, Automation Controller, inventories, job templates). Working familiarity with Terraform/OpenTofu and core IaC workflows is essential. You'll need strong product sense—the ability to identify user problems, synthesize qualitative and quantitative evidence, and make clear product decisions. Excellent written communication, direct collaboration with engineers and technical customers, and strong English (B2+) are required. Based in Europe.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with both Kubernetes and Ansible, cloud infrastructure, OPA/Rego, CI/CD, RBAC, audit systems, internal developer platforms, B2B SaaS or developer tools background, familiarity with Working Backwards or evidence-led product practices, and SQL/product analytics experience.
