Fireworks is a Series D AI infrastructure platform (valued at $17.5B) enabling companies to build, train, and serve AI models tailored to their data, workflows, and products. Founded by the PyTorch team and backed by AMD, NVIDIA, Sequoia, Benchmark, and others, Fireworks powers production AI with hundreds of state-of-the-art open models across text, image, embedding, audio, and multimodal workloads.
As Product Manager, Growth, you will drive adoption and expansion across Fireworks' product portfolio. Your focus is improving how developers discover the platform, achieve their first successful model call, return for additional work, and expand usage. You'll own surface areas including inference, training, nexus, and surrounding product experiences: signup flows, documentation, API and playground interfaces, model selection, error handling, pricing, and the journey from first request to production workflow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and executing a roadmap spanning acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization; prioritizing high-impact bets and deprioritizing lower-value work
- Shepherding features from conception through launch across the product suite, owning critical developer moments: time to first working request, useful error messages, documentation accuracy, appropriate model defaults, and reasons to return
- Analyzing product metrics and user behavior to identify gaps and validate solutions
- Cross-functional collaboration with engineers, marketing, design, and product teams to drive execution
- Spending time with developers to understand real workflows, including authentication, model selection, latency, cost, evaluation, and failure scenarios; translating insights into actionable product direction
- Ensuring growth initiatives are embedded in the product roadmap, not isolated side projects
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in A/B testing and funnel optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to align engineers, designers, and go-to-market partners around shared plans
- Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; can synthesize incomplete information into clear next steps
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of product management experience, majority in developer experience or growth PM roles
- Track record shipping on widely used products, ideally consumption-based models
- Experience building product-led growth (PLG) and self-serve capabilities within a hybrid sales-led and self-serve business model
