Vercel is seeking a Product Manager to own the Vercel Dashboard, the primary control plane through which all Vercel users interact with the platform. This role involves defining how developers and teams engage with Vercel from first login through daily use, across individual accounts and enterprise organizations.
You will lead a strategic shift from the current project listing page to a personalized, agent-powered surface that proactively helps users ship and discover value. Key responsibilities include:
• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Dashboard as the primary surface for all Vercel customers
• Define how AI agents operate within the Dashboard, from surfacing errors and suggesting fixes to updating code and configuration on behalf of users
• Transform the Dashboard from a passive "pull" experience to a proactive "push" experience, surfacing insights, notifications, and recommended actions
• Define information architecture and design patterns for product area teams (Billing, CI/CD, Observability) to build within, ensuring consistency and quality
• Collaborate with Engineering to maintain an uncompromising performance bar—the Dashboard must be the fastest, most delightful surface at Vercel
• Run experiments and measure onboarding funnel performance, feature adoption, and engagement across user segments
You will report to the Product Lead. The role is based in San Francisco with hybrid anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for those within commuting distance of Vercel offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin).
Requirements:
• Proven experience building and shipping developer-facing products
• Experience with control planes, dashboards, or console products at infrastructure, cloud, or developer tools companies
• Strong opinions on information architecture and simplifying complex products
• Ability to think about products from both human and agent perspectives; active use of AI tools with a point of view on agent-product interaction
• Experience running experiments and using product analytics to drive roadmap decisions
Bonus qualifications:
• Experience on platform or horizontal product teams where you set patterns others adopt
• Engineering background or software-building experience
• Experience with onboarding, activation, or growth loops in product-led growth contexts
• Experience with personalization frameworks or systems that adapt to user segments and lifecycle stages
