Salary: USD 175,000 - 210,000 / annual

As a Product Manager at Mixpanel, you will operate with high ownership and trust, focusing on helping builders—regardless of statistics background—get real answers from messy product data and make judgment calls that separate delightful products from bloated ones. The team uses Mixpanel daily to build Mixpanel itself, testing product intuitions against real data before users see them. Key Responsibilities: - Use customer conversations and Mixpanel's product data to shape strategy and direction for your product area - Align engineering and design teams on the right problems through clear, written communication - Work closely with engineering and design to experiment with and ship new capabilities - Tell compelling stories about shipped features to internal and external audiences, leading with customer problems and using customer stories to demonstrate value - Prioritize ruthlessly across potential bets, balancing customer impact, business value, and team capacity - Define and track metrics to measure whether shipped features worked, and course-correct when needed - Align engineering, design, sales, marketing, and support around shared roadmap and priorities - Stay close to market and competitive landscape to inform Mixpanel's investment strategy - Help shape the product function at Mixpanel: its responsibilities, interfaces with other teams, and development over time Requirements: - 3-5 years of hands-on product management experience - Experience conducting user research and working with customers to test product hypotheses - Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative signals to drive clarity on what to build - Track record of developing, articulating, and executing on product strategies - Experience using AI tools in product management workflows (e.g., competitive research, prototyping) Bonus: - Experience using Mixpanel as an end customer - Experience writing production-grade software - Experience designing products using Figma, Sketch, or Abstract
