GovWorx is a mission-driven technology company serving public safety agencies—911 Emergency Communications Centers, law enforcement, and fire/EMS departments—with AI-powered platforms like CommsCoach, BluAssist, and MedAssist. These products enhance training, quality assurance, and performance evaluation to improve staffing, morale, and operational efficiency.
As Product Manager, you will lead the execution, delivery, and continuous improvement of mission-critical software products supporting public safety and emergency communications. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customers, and compliance, with a strong focus on Agile execution, real-world user feedback, and data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities include: driving Agile/Scrum execution by maintaining prioritized backlogs, leading sprint ceremonies, and maintaining delivery velocity; building release plans, managing cross-functional dependencies, and surfacing risks early; orchestrating customer pilots, coordinating training, and iterating features based on call-taker feedback; defining and monitoring KPIs (call-handling time, AI adoption rate) and adapting the roadmap based on measurable outcomes; ensuring CJIS and SOC 2 compliance alignment with security and infrastructure teams; providing product expertise for go-to-market, marketing, sales, and support enablement; and fostering high-performance team culture through proactive communication and process refinement.
You will bring 5–10 years of product management or closely related product leadership experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex, customer-facing software products from discovery through delivery. You have deep hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum teams, proven ability to manage backlogs and maintain predictable delivery velocity, and a track record of leading customer implementations and phased rollouts in production environments. You excel at defining and acting on KPIs to drive roadmap decisions, have operated in regulated or compliance-driven environments (CJIS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA, or similar), and possess strong cross-functional leadership skills collaborating with engineering, security, infrastructure, sales, and support teams. Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level communication, is essential. Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states. US applicants only.
