Sierra is building an AI platform that enables enterprises to deliver better, more human customer experiences. The company partners with industry leaders including SoftBank, Uber, Rivian, CLEAR, and Sutter Health. Founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Google Maps co-creator, OpenAI Board Chair) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace), Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
The Financial Services team focuses on transforming customer experience for systemically important banks, neobanks, insurers, and vertically integrated ecosystems. One in three of the world's leading banks use Sierra. The team builds AI agents that handle thousands of customer conversations daily, addressing critical moments in financial services—mortgage pre-approvals, fraud detection, card replacement, and more.
As Product Manager for Agent Development, you will own the full lifecycle of enterprise-grade AI agents. You'll partner directly with engineers and customers to build and ship production agents at scale. Your responsibilities include discovering customer requirements, delivering product demonstrations, addressing technical challenges, developing agents that fit customer needs, and becoming a trusted strategic advisor. You'll shape the product roadmap by working with engineering and product teams to scope and implement features critical to customer success.
You bring 5-10+ years of product development experience with highly technical products, with a track record at Senior PM level or above. Financial services expertise (banking, fintech, lending, payments, insurance, mortgages, wealth management) is essential. You have strong technical fluency—comfortable reasoning about APIs, data flows, system architecture, AI systems, integrations, and failure modes. You balance customer needs, speed, reliability, risk, and long-term platform leverage with exceptional product judgment. You've worked directly with enterprise customers, communicating effectively with both executives and deeply technical teams. You have a builder mindset, prototyping and investigating hands-on. You communicate clearly about complex technical and AI concepts to diverse audiences in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. A technical or related degree (or equivalent) is required.
Ideal candidates also have AI product development experience (especially AI agents), some coding experience with React, TypeScript, or Go, an MBA or equivalent, and past roles interfacing with end customers to influence software development.
