Replit is seeking a Product Engineer to build next-generation products on its agentic software creation platform. You'll own major product experiences end-to-end—from concept through design, implementation, launch, and iteration—working on AI-native tools like Replit Slides (presentation generation), interactive data applications, and visual editing systems. You'll combine deep technical expertise with strong product judgment to create intuitive interfaces for AI-generated content. This includes building sophisticated frontend experiences (React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS), designing editing and collaboration primitives, and working across the full stack (Node.js, APIs, Postgres, production debugging). You'll partner closely with users, product, design, and AI engineers to understand workflows and turn feedback into polished products. The role emphasizes ownership, velocity, and technical leverage. You'll work in lean, autonomous teams operating three-week sprints, shipping quickly and iterating based on real user behavior. This is a high-visibility position working directly with product leadership. Required: 4+ years shipping high-quality user-facing products; deep TypeScript/React/HTML/CSS expertise; understanding of agentic software development; strong product judgment and visual taste; full-stack comfort; familiarity with browser performance, accessibility, and responsive design. Bonus: experience with visual editors, presentation software, creative tools, data applications, developer tools, collaboration products, canvas/graphics systems, rich text, real-time collaboration, data visualization, AI generation UX, or founding/founding engineer background. Hybrid role based in Foster City, CA with Monday/Wednesday/Friday in-office requirement. Full-time with competitive salary, equity, 401(k) match, comprehensive health benefits, flexible time off, and quarterly team gatherings.
