Antimetal is building the future of infrastructure management by creating a platform that investigates, resolves, and prevents issues using AI agents. As a Product Engineer (Agents), you'll work across the full stack—from agent orchestration and data pipelines to APIs and React interfaces—to bring AI-powered insights to users.
You'll design and build agentic workflows for production incidents, including orchestration, prompting, tool use, and evaluation. You'll engineer context and retrieval systems (semantic search, keyword, API, SQL) that surface the right information at the right time. Your responsibilities include shipping product features end-to-end, from backend data models to React interfaces, and partnering closely with platform and research teams to bring AI capabilities into customer-facing products.
You'll take ownership of ambiguous projects, breaking them into milestones and orchestrating delivery across cross-functional teams (design, platform, research). You'll work directly with customers to refine features and validate product fit, pushing product thinking beyond just code to create features customers love.
You bring 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack, product, or AI engineering roles. You have production experience with LLMs or agent-based systems, strong expertise in TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and NestJS, and comfort with the realities of AI in production (evaluations, latency, error handling, streaming). You've owned projects end-to-end in a startup environment and have a track record of pushing product thinking. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), developer tools, infrastructure, observability, retrieval/search systems, direct customer engagement, or prior tech-lead experience is a bonus.
