Fireworks is a Series D AI infrastructure platform (valued at $17.5B) backed by NVIDIA, Sequoia, Benchmark, and others. The company enables enterprises to build, train, and serve specialized AI models tailored to their data and workflows.
You'll own product design end-to-end for a developer-focused platform, translating complex AI infrastructure into intuitive experiences. Your focus areas include model deployment interfaces, inference monitoring dashboards, and AI agent orchestration tools. You'll drive the entire design lifecycle—research, prototyping, high-fidelity design, and iteration based on real developer usage.
Key responsibilities:
- Design zero-to-ship for major platform features, owning research through shipping
- Make AI infrastructure intuitive by simplifying complex technical workflows (model deployment, monitoring, agent orchestration) into clear interfaces
- Build and evolve the design system as the platform scales, establishing visual language and component libraries
- Partner deeply with engineering and product leadership at the decision-making table, not downstream
- Use AI-powered design tools in your own workflow to move fast and think bigger
- Optimize developer experience across the entire platform, from onboarding through production
You bring 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in developer tools, cloud platforms, or complex B2B infrastructure. Your portfolio demonstrates systems thinking and solving hard UX problems, not just visual polish. You're a Figma expert with fluency in supporting tools (FigJam, Framer, Principle). You've owned product areas end-to-end in startup environments and thrive with ambiguity. You're genuinely curious about AI—you use LLMs, follow the space, and have informed opinions about its direction.
Bonus qualifications include experience designing developer platforms or APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure, Vercel), familiarity with front-end development or design-to-code workflows, exposure to agent-driven UX patterns, and the ability to turn technical constraints into design opportunities.
