PagerDuty (NYSE:PD) is a leader in Digital Operations Management, trusted by over 13,000 organizations including 60 Fortune 100 companies. The company is seeking a Principal Solutions Consultant to serve as a key strategic leader and the primary technical face of PagerDuty across the US region.
This high-impact role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering. You will partner with CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of Engineering at the US's most influential enterprises to redefine how they manage digital operations, resilience, and automation. You will act as a bridge between customers' long-term strategic needs and PagerDuty's product roadmap.
Key responsibilities include: serving as a peer and advisor to customer C-suite executives on complex digital transformations; representing PagerDuty as a thought leader at major industry events and through content creation; partnering with Global Product and Engineering leadership to ensure US market requirements are represented in the roadmap; providing architectural oversight for complex, high-stakes enterprise opportunities; fostering a community of DevOps and SRE leaders; and staying ahead of competitive landscape shifts and technical trends.
You will mentor high-performing technical sales teams and act as a trusted advisor on topics ranging from AIOps and SRE maturity to digital transformation and cloud migration. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with executive presence and the ability to influence at the highest organizational levels.
Required qualifications: 15+ years in technical leadership, solutions architecture, or product management within SaaS, DevOps, or Cloud infrastructure; proven track record engaging with and influencing C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies; ability to support and influence complex sales cycles; deep domain expertise in at least three of: Incident Management, SRE, AIOps, Cloud Native Architectures, ITSM/ITIL, or Cybersecurity Incident Response; exceptional public speaking and written communication skills; ability to travel across the US and occasionally overseas.
Preferred qualifications include active involvement in the tech community (mentorship, open-source, advisory roles) and experience navigating regulatory landscapes for US financial services or government sectors.
