Docker is building a Professional Services organization to accelerate enterprise adoption of containerization and agentic AI workflows. As Principal Solutions Architect, you will be a founding member of this function, reporting to senior leadership and working across revenue, product, marketing, and partnerships.
You will own the strategy and execution of Docker's professional services practice, building repeatable reference architectures for self-hosted deployments, air-gapped environments, AI agent integration (Model Context Protocol), identity federation, and secure software supply chains. You'll translate these patterns into customer-facing technical collateral, SOW templates, and delivery playbooks that scale engagements consistently.
On the customer side, you'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to Fortune 500 enterprises and strategic partners, leading architecture engagements that span enterprise integration, Kubernetes deployments in regulated environments, and agentic AI toolchain design. You'll architect complex solutions involving local image registries, offline toolchains, identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, LDAP), RBAC design, and supply chain security (SBOM, image signing, vulnerability management).
You'll drive cross-functional alignment without direct reports, translating field insights into product roadmap priorities and partner enablement strategies. You'll also support partner selection, onboarding, and technical integration for system integrators and service delivery partners.
Required: 7+ years as a solutions architect or technical consultant at SaaS/infrastructure companies or consulting firms. Deep expertise in self-hosted and air-gapped deployments, enterprise identity integration (OIDC, SAML, SSO), Model Context Protocol and agentic AI architectures, LLM deployment, container and supply chain security (Docker Hardened Images, SBOM, attestation), and executive-level stakeholder management. Proven track record delivering high-value services engagements that drive revenue and ARR growth.
