BloomReach is building an agentic platform for personalization, using AI agents to personalize the entire customer journey. The company powers personalization for over 1,400 global brands including American Eagle, Sonepar, and Pandora.
The Principal Solutions Architect is a senior, customer-facing technical role responsible for helping BloomReach win and grow strategic enterprise customers by connecting their business objectives with modern data, AI, MarTech, and commerce architectures.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor to senior technology and digital leaders (CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects), helping customers understand how BloomReach fits into and enhances their existing technology ecosystem. Working closely with Global Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, you will shape technical strategy throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, lead executive and technical conversations, and help customers translate architectural decisions into measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a senior technical advisor for global strategic enterprise opportunities, building trusted relationships with C-level technology stakeholders
- Understanding and mapping complex customer technology environments to identify where BloomReach creates value
- Communicating complex architectures, data flows, and integration strategies to technical and executive audiences
- Advising customers on data movement from systems of record through real-time decisioning and activation
- Helping customers evaluate architectural trade-offs across data platforms, APIs, cloud infrastructure, identity, governance, latency, and scalability
- Bringing expertise across modern data architectures (Databricks, Snowflake, lakehouses, CDPs) and understanding identity resolution, event streams, customer profiles, and real-time data requirements
- Understanding enterprise MarTech ecosystems including ESPs, personalization, CRM, commerce, and marketing automation
- Partnering with Account Executives throughout complex enterprise sales cycles to shape technical strategy and increase deal confidence
- Supporting RFPs, technical validation, executive presentations, architecture reviews, and customer workshops
- Connecting technical and architectural decisions to business outcomes (revenue, cost, risk, time-to-value)
- Identifying and removing technical barriers preventing enterprise opportunities from progressing
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to bring customer insights and market trends back into BloomReach
- Mentoring Solution Consultants on modern data architecture, AI, enterprise technology, and industry trends
- Developing relationships with strategic technology partners (hyperscalers, commerce platforms, CDPs, systems integrators)
- Contributing to customer technology briefings, industry events, and thought leadership
Success milestones include: building relationships across Global Sales, Channel, Solution Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams within 30 days; developing strong understanding of BloomReach's platform, AI capabilities, architecture, and competitive positioning; beginning to actively support strategic enterprise opportunities and establish credibility within 60 days; and leading technical strategy across multiple strategic opportunities while establishing trusted customer relationships and becoming a recognized internal technology advisor within 90 days.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Significant experience in a senior customer-facing technical role within enterprise software, SaaS, commerce, MarTech, data, or digital experience
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture and cloud platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, lakehouses, and CDPs
- Strong understanding of APIs, event-driven architectures, data flows, identity resolution, customer profiles, and real-time activation
- Understanding of enterprise MarTech and commerce ecosystems, including CRM, ESPs, personalization, marketing automation, and commerce platforms
- Experience with enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of modern commerce architectures, APIs, microservices, composable commerce, and cloud-native technologies
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, RFPs, technical evaluations, and multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Experience working with senior technical stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and technology leadership teams
- Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts and connect them to business outcomes
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
- Commercially minded, with ability to understand the relationship between architecture, investment, risk, and business value
- Comfortable challenging customers and internal Product/Engineering teams constructively
- Strong curiosity and ability to learn and communicate emerging technologies, particularly across AI, data, and customer experience
- Executive presence and credibility (no requirement to have previously held a CTO or equivalent executive technology position)
