Coinbase is seeking a Principal Recruiter to join the Core Recruiting team within People Success. This role owns full-lifecycle recruiting across Coinbase's G&A, Customer Experience, EAA, and IT functions, with potential support for product group hiring depending on business needs.
You will own the complete recruitment lifecycle from role intake through candidate close for complex, senior-level searches. Key responsibilities include building candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research to maintain hiring velocity and quality at each stage. You'll partner directly with senior leaders across client groups to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies while ensuring strong candidate and interviewer experiences.
The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making: you'll drive data integrity, use pipeline analytics to identify bottlenecks, and improve outcomes for hiring teams. You'll also design and implement recruiting processes and pilot programs that help the team scale impact across global markets.
Required qualifications include 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in technology companies or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environments, with demonstrated success closing competitive candidates across G&A and technical functions. You must have experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets and deep knowledge of the entire candidate lifecycle from talent mapping through closing. A data-driven approach to pipeline management is essential, with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations. The role also requires responsible use of generative AI while maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
