Twilio is seeking a Principal Presales Product Specialist to architect and validate complex, multi-product solutions in the trust, identity, and compliance space. You will operate as a regional technical authority, partnering closely with Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, Enterprise Strategists, and Value Engineers to accelerate high-impact opportunities.
Key responsibilities include architecting end-to-end, multi-product solutions that integrate into customer ecosystems; leading technical discovery, solution mapping, and validation strategies (workshops, demos, POCs) to mitigate architectural risk; scoping and validating architectures with emphasis on security, scalability, and compliance; and delivering executive-ready presentations that communicate tradeoffs, implementation paths, and long-term platform vision.
You will document customer patterns, technical shifts, and competitive signals, synthesizing insights into actionable product feedback. You'll drive influence through Product & R&D interlocks, GTM escalations, and PDLC feedback mechanisms. Additionally, you'll serve as a visible thought leader on trust, identity, security, fraud, and compliance trends, shaping Twilio's technical narrative and point of view.
Required qualifications include 7+ years of progressive presales experience (solutions engineering, sales engineering, or specialist overlay) with demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder solution cycles. You need 4+ years of depth in at least one trust-related domain (identity verification, authentication, security, fraud/abuse, compliance). Strong executive communication skills are essential—the ability to influence C-level and senior technical audiences with crisp architecture narratives. You must have proven ability to build durable cross-functional partnerships and drive outcomes through influence, plus experience capturing and communicating customer requirements to influence product strategy.
Desired qualifications include experience operating as a regional technical authority (standard-setting, coaching, asset creation); a track record building repeatable architectures and plays that scale; deep partnership experience with Product/PMM on positioning and roadmap feedback; and familiarity with adjacent trust capabilities such as encryption and key management concepts.
Twilio is a remote-first company, though you may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings.
