The Principal People Partner is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership (Director+ and C-suite) on all people and organizational matters.
In this role, you will drive people and organizational strategies that align with business objectives and enable high-performing teams. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Business Partnership: Translate business strategy into talent strategy, advising leaders on organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, performance development, total rewards, and team member lifecycle management. Analyze trends and metrics to identify gaps and develop solutions that drive business outcomes.
Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives including restructuring, leadership transitions, and talent program rollouts. Develop comprehensive change management and communication plans to maximize adoption and minimize business disruption.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Provide expert guidance on employment law, regulations, and best practices. Advise on team member relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Manage investigations and policy development while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Talent Development & Performance: Partner with leaders to build high-performing teams. Oversee performance management processes, identify skill development opportunities, and collaborate on training programs. Leverage data and tools to empower leaders in performance management and engagement.
Team Member Experience: Develop and execute engagement strategies, interpret engagement data, and recommend action plans. Build retention initiatives for critical talent groups. Support executive onboarding and offboarding, and ensure communication cascades effectively across the organization.
You will work cross-functionally with the People team and senior managers, bringing considerable leadership influence and strategic expertise to shape organizational culture and drive business success.
