Salary: USD 230,000 - 310,000 / annual
Reltio, an SAP company, is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to serve as a senior individual contributor within Solutions Consulting. This role provides technical leadership on Reltio's most complex and strategically significant global sales engagements, bridging enterprise architecture expertise with visionary pre-sales leadership.
You will partner closely with Product Management, Field CTOs, Engineering, and Sales Account teams to act as a two-way bridge between the field and product roadmap at a strategic level. You'll engage C-suite executives (CDOs, Chief Architects, CIOs, CTOs) at world-leading organizations to architect how Reltio transforms complex enterprise data landscapes as part of SAP Business Cloud.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Pre-Sales & Enterprise Architecture:**
- Serve as principal technical advisor for Reltio's most complex global sales opportunities, independently defining architectural approaches and resolving critical technical issues.
- Define and maintain reusable enterprise reference architectures and integration blueprints, including SAP integration patterns and SAP Business Data Cloud alignment.
- Co-create transformative solution visions with C-level executives, demonstrating how Reltio unlocks business value through data unification, AI, and the Autonomous Enterprise.
- Set technical objectives, success criteria, and architectural approaches for proof-of-value engagements with strategic customers.
- Own technical strategy and architectural narrative on landmark, multi-year, multi-million-dollar pursuits.
- Define success measures and evaluate impact of strategic architecture initiatives.
**Product Management Partnership:**
- Establish structured processes with Product Management and Field CTOs to synthesize customer, competitive, and architectural insights into product strategy recommendations.
- Partner on highest-stakes pursuits, co-developing solution approaches for emerging or early-release capabilities.
- Validate and pressure-test pre-release capabilities in demanding deal contexts, feeding practical insights back to product and engineering.
- Lead cross-functional resolution of strategic architectural issues spanning Solutions Consulting, Product Management, and Engineering.
- Steward strategic design-partner and co-innovation relationships with marquee customers.
**Industry Leadership, Enablement & Influence:**
- Define and champion innovative solution patterns, reference architectures, and best practices across Solutions Consulting and the industry.
- Develop architectural capabilities of senior Solutions Consulting individual contributors through mentorship and design reviews.
- Represent Reltio as a leading industry expert at prominent conferences, executive councils, and with industry analysts.
- Influence market perception and competitive positioning through deep technical insight.
- Build and nurture strategic technical alliances and partnerships.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 15 years of pre-sales, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience in enterprise software, with extensive track record on highly complex, strategic data unification, AI, and platform engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or deeply related technical field.
- Recognized leading expert in enterprise data architecture, master data management, cloud-native technologies, and advanced AI/ML applications, with credibility to advise Chief Architects and CDOs.
- Proven ability to design and defend end-to-end solution architectures in complex, heterogeneous enterprise environments.
- Exceptional ability to engage, influence, and build trusted advisor relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CDOs, and C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies.
- Proven experience shaping and winning landmark, multi-year, multi-million-dollar enterprise software deals globally.
- Deep experience working directly with Product Management, translating field and customer insight into product direction.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, master data management, and data unification.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technology trends and translate into practical recommendations.
- Superior communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives through influence, align cross-functional teams, and mentor senior technical professionals without direct reporting authority.
- Demonstrated experience advising senior customer leaders on enterprise data strategy and long-term transformation roadmaps.
**Nice to Have:**
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related advanced technical field.
- Hands-on architectural expertise and at least one certification with major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Prior experience in product-facing, field-CTO, or design-partner role.
- Frequent event speaker or author in data unification, AI, distributed systems, or enterprise architecture.
- Proven ability to invent and prototype novel solutions.
- Ability to build productive relationships with industry experts, technology partners, and customer architecture leaders.
