Tulip Retail is seeking a PreSales Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technical and business advisor partnering with Sales to help enterprise retailers evaluate and adopt Tulip's retail platform. You will work across the entire sales cycle, uncovering customer challenges, designing tailored solution strategies, and delivering compelling demonstrations that connect Tulip's capabilities to measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and conduct consultative discovery of customer business, operational, and technical requirements. You will lead product demonstrations tailored to each prospect's retail workflows and business priorities, design solution strategies that articulate how Tulip addresses customer challenges, and participate throughout the enterprise sales cycle from discovery through contract signature. You'll scope and lead Proof of Concept engagements, own or contribute to technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires, and develop compelling demo environments with reusable scenarios aligned to Tulip's latest capabilities. Additional responsibilities include staying current on Tulip product releases, competitive offerings, and retail technology trends; collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Professional Services teams; representing Tulip at executive briefings, workshops, webinars, and industry events; and mentoring teammates on product knowledge and demonstration techniques. Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales within enterprise SaaS. You must demonstrate success leading executive-level software demonstrations throughout complex enterprise sales cycles, possess strong consultative discovery skills, and have excellent presentation and communication abilities. Experience partnering with enterprise Account Executives on strategic opportunities is essential, as is the ability to discuss integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise architecture at appropriate levels for customer audiences. You should be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously, and able to quickly learn new technologies and communicate their value. Preferred qualifications include experience with retail technology from either retailer or vendor perspectives, familiarity with clienteling, POS, OMS, CRM, commerce platforms, customer engagement platforms, or omnichannel solutions, and experience selling into enterprise or luxury retail organizations. Fluent English is required; additional languages are a plus. Willingness to travel internationally, primarily to North America and Europe, is expected.
