Tulip is seeking a PreSales Solutions Consultant to serve as a trusted technical and business advisor partnering with Sales to help enterprise retailers evaluate and adopt Tulip's retail platform. You will work across the entire sales cycle, uncovering customer challenges, designing tailored solution strategies, and delivering compelling demonstrations that connect Tulip's capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and conduct consultative discovery; leading product demonstrations tailored to retail workflows and business priorities; designing solution strategies that articulate how Tulip addresses customer challenges; scoping and leading Proof of Concept engagements; owning or contributing to technical RFI/RFP responses and security questionnaires; developing and maintaining demo environments and industry-specific storytelling; staying current on product releases and retail technology trends; collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Professional Services teams; representing Tulip at executive briefings, workshops, webinars, and industry events; and mentoring teammates on product knowledge and demonstration techniques.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, simplifying complex technical concepts for both business and technical audiences. This role combines consultative discovery, executive storytelling, solution design, and technical expertise to help leading retailers and luxury brands transform the in-store and omnichannel customer experience.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales within enterprise SaaS; demonstrated success leading executive-level software demonstrations throughout complex enterprise sales cycles; strong consultative discovery skills; excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities; experience partnering with enterprise Account Executives; ability to discuss integrations, APIs, data flows, and enterprise architecture at appropriate levels; self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills; ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate their value; and fluent English.
