Mekari, Indonesia's leading SaaS company, is seeking a Presales Engineer to drive enterprise sales for Mekari Talenta, its HRIS and payroll solution. You will conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their HR, payroll, workforce management, and performance management needs. Your role bridges business and technology: you'll translate complex HR and payroll processes into Mekari Talenta configurations, deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution workshops, and develop comprehensive solution proposals with architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
You will support technical discussions around system integration, including REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and data exchange protocols. Enterprise customers' IT teams will rely on you to discuss cloud-to-on-premise connectivity requirements—firewall configuration, VPN, proxy settings, IP whitelisting, DNS, and network security. You'll participate in RFP/RFQ processes, tender evaluations, and technical questionnaires, addressing customer concerns and assessing technical feasibility throughout the sales cycle.
Collaboration is central: you'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth handoffs from presales to implementation. You'll also gather customer and market feedback to inform product improvements.
Required: 2+ years in presales, solution consulting, sales engineering, business analysis, or implementation consulting. Deep understanding of HRIS and payroll processes, SaaS architecture, and enterprise software. Strong knowledge of system integration (REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, data mapping). Solid grasp of IT infrastructure and networking—IP addressing, firewalls, VPN, proxy, IP whitelisting, DNS, SSL/TLS, SSO, LDAP, Active Directory. Ability to create solution architecture and integration diagrams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Comfortable engaging with HR managers, payroll managers, finance teams, IT architects, and C-level executives. Fluent English (written and verbal).
