BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. This field sales role is based in San Antonio and focuses on driving adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—a single-gene NIPT carrier and aneuploidy screening product—among OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, genetic counselors, and hospital systems across your territory. You will be the primary clinical and commercial interface between BillionToOne and healthcare providers, responsible for direct prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling. Key responsibilities include increasing test utilization through strategic account development, identifying and cultivating key opinion leaders, managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing, and attending industry conferences and local tradeshows. You'll develop and execute a regional business plan to drive rapid market penetration in OB/GYN clinics, MFM practices, genetic counseling centers, and Federally Qualified Health Centers. The role requires a minimum of three years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, with a proven track record of success calling directly on medical providers. You should demonstrate strong consultative selling skills, excellent communication (written and verbal), and the ability to assess and respond to customer needs. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a startup environment. You must have working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of professionalism when handling patient and physician information. Women's health background, clinical laboratory experience, and a convertible book of business are nice-to-haves. This is a high-impact role where your efforts directly influence how a life-changing diagnostic reaches patients during critical prenatal moments.
