BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. As a Prenatal Account Executive based in San Jose/South Bay, you will drive adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—the first and only single-gene NIPT with carrier and aneuploidy screening capability—across OB/GYN clinics, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) practices, genetic counselor offices, hospital systems, and federally qualified health centers in your territory.
You will own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting and cultivating relationships with obstetricians, MFMs, genetic counselors, and key opinion leaders; delivering clinical education to both external clients and internal teams; identifying commercial opportunities; and implementing strategic business plans to drive utilization growth. This is a field sales role with significant influence over how the test is positioned to physicians and patients, and how product development should evolve based on market feedback.
Key responsibilities include increasing test utilization through direct sales, managing key relationships with healthcare professionals, developing new business opportunities, attending industry conferences and tradeshows, and coordinating the full sales process from lead generation through closing.
You will report to a Regional Manager - Prenatal and work in a startup-oriented environment within a publicly traded company. The role requires 3+ years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on providers in your geographic territory. You should have a proven sales track record, strong presentation and listening skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently with urgency and focus on closing business. Experience in women's health, clinical laboratory settings, or startup environments is valued. You must understand HIPAA, patient privacy, and medical ethics.
