BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company (Nasdaq) focused on transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics through cutting-edge molecular testing. The Prenatal Account Executive role is a field sales position responsible for driving adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—a single-gene NIPT supported carrier and aneuploidy screening test—across OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) practices, genetic counselors, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers in the Monterey territory.
Key responsibilities include direct sales prospecting and relationship management with physicians and key opinion leaders; identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities within OBGYN, MFM, and genetic counseling clinics; developing and executing a strategic business plan to grow test utilization in the assigned geography; managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing; and attending industry conferences and networking events. You will serve as a clinical information bridge between external clients and internal teams, with significant influence over how the test is positioned to physicians and patients.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of three years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on medical providers. You should demonstrate a proven sales track record, strong listening and presentation skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a startup environment. Experience with HIPAA compliance, consultative selling, and problem-solving for medical professionals is essential. Nice-to-haves include women's health background, clinical laboratory experience, startup experience, and an existing book of business.
Reports to Regional Manager - Prenatal. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences the standard of care in prenatal diagnostics and helps remove uncertainty from critical medical moments.
