The Prenatal Account Executive role is a field sales position responsible for driving adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—a single-gene NIPT with carrier and aneuploidy screening capabilities—across the New Mexico territory.
You will serve as the primary sales representative to OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, genetic counselors, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers. Key responsibilities include prospecting and developing new clinical relationships, identifying key opinion leaders, managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through closing, and creating strategic business plans to accelerate utilization in your geography. You'll attend industry conferences and networking events, deliver clinical education to both external providers and internal teams, and provide feedback on how the product should evolve based on market needs.
This role requires a minimum of three years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, with a proven track record of closing business and building relationships with medical professionals. You must be self-motivated, comfortable working independently in a startup environment, and possess strong organizational, communication, and consultative selling skills. Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and medical ethics is essential. Nice-to-haves include women's health background, clinical laboratory experience, startup experience, and an existing book of business you can bring to the role.
