BillionToOne is a publicly traded genomics company transforming prenatal and cancer diagnostics. As a Prenatal Account Executive based in North Chicago, you will drive adoption of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen—the first and only single-gene NIPT with carrier and aneuploidy screening—across OB/GYN clinics, maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) practices, and genetic counselor offices in your territory.
You will own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting and cultivating relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and healthcare systems; delivering clinical education to both external clients and internal teams; identifying growth opportunities within hospital systems and Federally Qualified Health Centers; and executing a strategic business plan to drive utilization. This is a field sales role reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal, with significant influence over how the test is positioned to physicians and patients, and how the product evolves based on market feedback.
Key responsibilities include increasing test utilization through direct sales, managing key relationships, attending industry conferences and tradeshows, and coordinating logistics and problem-solving with medical professionals. You will work independently with strong internal drive, managing your territory strategically while executing tactically.
Required: minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in healthcare, calling directly on providers in your geographic territory. You must demonstrate a proven sales track record, strong presentation and listening skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities. You should be exceptionally bright, flexible, self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable in a startup environment. Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and ethics is essential, along with demonstrated alignment with BillionToOne's mission and professional code of conduct.
