You will join Alan's Pre-Sales team as a Pre-Sales Specialist, leading and coordinating pre-sales strategy on complex enterprise and public sector deals. Your core responsibilities include mastering Alan's platform and enabling the sales team with insights and expertise; understanding prospect needs and assessing functional alignment with Alan's offerings; participating in RFP submissions and building responses in collaboration with sales, insurance, and product teams; evangelizing services and products throughout the customer acquisition journey; acting as voice of the customer to inform product roadmap; preparing and coordinating complex customer onboardings; and collaborating with peers across markets to build global best practices.
You will be at the center of shaping and scaling the pre-sales function in Belgium, bringing operational excellence and strategic vision to a recently created team. The role requires deep involvement in end-to-end procurement projects (RFI, RFQ, RFP), high-level stakeholder management, and the ability to break down complex issues to identify product gaps and define solutions.
Required qualifications: 4+ years SaaS experience; fluent English, Dutch, or French (both Dutch and French is a plus); Belgium-based; experience with procurement projects; ability to pitch transparently without overselling; active listening and requirements elicitation skills; assertiveness in handling objections; capability to prioritize while meeting commitments; strong teamwork orientation. Preferred: fluency in both Dutch and French; insurance or health platform experience; HRIS/payroll solution experience.
