The Pre-Sales role supports Alan's Enterprise and Public Sector sales teams by enabling them with deep platform expertise, customer insights, and strategic tools. Key responsibilities include: mastering Alan's platform and equipping sales teams with relevant insights and resources; actively listening to and understanding prospect needs, then collaborating internally to address them; building thorough prospect assessments and evaluating functional alignment with Alan's offerings; participating in RFP submissions and coordinating responses with Sales, Insurance, and Product teams; evangelizing services and products throughout the customer acquisition journey; acting as the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap decisions; preparing smooth customer onboardings; and coordinating complex onboardings by leveraging deep knowledge of customer requirements.
You will actively shape and develop this growing function, positioning Alan's sales teams for exceptional success. The role requires 6+ years in SaaS environments with at least 3 years in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solution Consulting. You need extensive experience managing end-to-end procurement projects (RFI, RFQ, RFP), strong root-cause analysis and requirements elicitation skills, assertiveness in handling objections, and the ability to pitch transparently without overselling. You should excel at breaking down complex issues, identifying product gaps, managing high-level stakeholders, prioritizing effectively, and thriving in collaborative environments. Fluency in both French and English is required. Experience in French Public Sector, HRIS/Payroll ecosystems, or Insurance/Health platforms is a plus.
Based in Paris or Île-de-France (within 2-hour door-to-door distance), with flexibility to travel for customer meetings.
