As Performance Marketing Lead, you'll own paid user acquisition end-to-end, managing the paid budget, channel mix, and acquisition targets. You'll drive strategy and execution across paid channels, starting with search and paid social, then expanding into CTV, podcasts, paid sponsorships, and new channels based on data-driven decisions.
This is a hands-on role with real scope. You'll manage accounts directly, write ad copy, set up landing page tests, analyze performance data, and hit CAC targets. You'll work closely with the Head of Growth and partner with data, product, lifecycle, and creative teams.
Key responsibilities include owning paid acquisition strategy across all channels; managing the paid media budget with allocation, pacing, and reallocation decisions; running end-to-end campaign management from strategy through reporting; optimizing account performance through keyword work, ad copy testing, and bid strategy; building a consistent testing cadence and documenting learnings; partnering with product and design on funnel optimization; managing performance against efficiency targets (CAC, LTV:CAC, CPA, ROAS); analyzing audience and placement data for new opportunities; providing weekly performance reporting; ensuring attribution and tracking are trustworthy; evaluating vendors and tools; and evolving the acquisition roadmap based on performance data and market shifts.
You'll need 6+ years in performance marketing or paid acquisition with meaningful B2C experience. You must be hands-on with Google Ads and paid social platforms (Meta required; Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok a plus), with direct account management experience. You should have a track record of owning at least $1M annual paid budgets and hitting efficiency targets. Strong analytical skills, understanding of attribution and measurement, experience with subscription/freemium models, CRO instincts, and clear written communication are essential. You'll thrive in a small, fast-moving team where you set your own priorities.
