Proof of Skill is seeking a Performance Marketing & Growth Associate to own paid acquisition strategy and execution. This is a hands-on role focused on driving measurable growth through data-driven campaign optimization, not simply running ads.
You will own end-to-end paid acquisition across Meta and Google, planning and launching campaigns daily while monitoring performance against key metrics including CAC, ROAS, CPL, CTR, and conversion rates. The role involves running structured A/B tests across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and conversion funnels to identify what drives results. You'll analyze campaign performance data, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing ad content.
Key responsibilities include identifying new acquisition channels and growth opportunities, optimizing user journeys and conversion rates, building performance dashboards and trackers, and working cross-functionally with product, operations, and leadership on growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of hands-on performance or growth marketing experience, with demonstrated success managing ad budgets on both Meta and Google platforms. You should have a strong grasp of marketing fundamentals (CAC, ROAS, LTV, attribution, conversion funnels), proficiency with Google Analytics and similar tools, and a data-driven mindset. A rapid testing mentality—quickly identifying and scaling winners while eliminating underperformers—is essential. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, take high ownership of outcomes, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A bachelor's degree is required.
